Tucker Carlson Interviews Vladimir Putin

Yup I definitely think it's nice to hear Putin's side from himself, even if it is just as biased as what we hear here. I thought the part where Tucker asked him about the Nord stream pipeline was hilarious, Putin pointing back to Tucker as if to say "well you blew it up of course" 😂

But yeah, I definitely think the launch of the war had something to do with Ukraine being in talks with Nato but was definitely fueled by the West's constant pressure on Russia over the past 2 decades, slowly inching towards their border with Nato. I also thought it was interesting how he said that he would stop the war if we stopped sending weapons and money to Ukraine. I wonder if he would actually keep that promise.

I really do wonder if the war would truly stop if the US stopped sending money and weapons to Ukraine.

I feel like I’m skeptical there personally.. Just because in the interview, Putin voiced that Russia has been mislead by the U.S. and European countries multiple times. I remember in the interview he said that some European countries and Ukraine told him “if you retreat from this city, Ukraine will look to start peace negotiations.” And then when Russia retreated, they said “haha, jk, thank you for giving up this city, sucker”. If that’s really how things went down, what’s stopping Russia from doing the same thing and retaliating the same way out of that revenge cycle.

Assuming everything Putin said is true, Russia would really have to be “the bigger man” and let go of that pride of being lied to.

Yeah, I caught that too. Honestly there really is nothing stopping Putin from doing the same thing, and if he did, I really can't blame him. He obviously feels isolated and kicked out of the West and Nato's "cool kids club," which explains a lot.

Guess we will see what happens.
